How
The beginning
The first thing we need to know is what makes you tick, what you’re interested in and what type of personality you can offer an employer. We’ll get this through a chat on the phone or in person and through filling in some simple forms. We’ll then match you against some employers and get you ready to attend some interviews.
During the Apprenticeship
You’ll have a learning plan specific to you, your job and your employer. This plan is broken into three parts:
- Workshops where we’ll cover key topics relating to your apprenticeship.
- An Assessor who will watch you at work and provide you with any support you need.
- A project which lets you focus on a specific piece of work you can carry out as part of your apprenticeship – a great opportunity to impress your employer.
At the end
Generally it takes about 12 months to complete an apprenticeship. At the end you’ll have a certificate proving your new nationally recognised qualification and sack loads of experience in the job that sets you apart from other job seekers.
