The best bit is that only a few units are mandatory, which allows the rest of the qualification to be tailored specifically to your business or employee. Often a route to recruitment, Apprenticeships can also be a useful way for the training and development of current employees for new positions. Using the same principles of Work Based Qualifications, Apprenticeships combine Functional Skills and a more intensive programme of Guided Learning Hours to ensure your employee is well developed and trained to grow within your organisation. Apprenticeships normally last 9 – 12 months.
